Here is a short step by step guide to help you:
1. Place your hookbait into the bottom of the mould.
2. Fill the mould with groundbait.
3. Press the feeder firmly into the groundbait filled mould.
4. Turn the mould upside down and waggle the neck of the feeder until it works loose from the mould.
5. As it falls clear you will see the hookbait visible on the surface of the ball, in some situations when the fish are really having it you can use it like this. Most of the time it is better to cover the hookbait. To do this just half fill the mould and give the feeder a second firm press.
6. Now it is ready to cast. To vary the meltdown rate simply add more groundbait and press harder to slow the rate down or a softer press with less ground bait will break down more quickly.
