Middy sponsored angler Rob Wootton put the new Shock Stikk to the test by targeting carp to double figures in margin reeds. Fed up with smashing top kits on big carp, he wanted something strong enough to stop fish in their tracks. After two months of experimenting, the
Shock-Stikk was born.
Essentially, the Shock-Stikk is a powerful, spigot jointed hit-and-hold tool. The top section is like an extensively beefed
up top kit on a super strong margin pole, it is hollow and will handle any elastic you care to try. The bottom half is like a very thin carp rod, including hand grips but without the rings.
Rob was happy to report the Shock-Stikk passed his test with flying colours. What really impressed him was just how fast he was able to tire
and net fish to around 11lb.
The Shock-Stikk is 3m in length, comes ready elasticated with Middy Hi-Viz Shock Core Bungee and has a ready to use Animal barbless carp rig.
